As the first semester of the year 2017 comes to a close, the 13th Sangguniang Panlungsod city officials and employees led by Vice Mayor Jose Antonio Veloso, conducted their mid-year assessment and team building at the East Coast White Sand Resort, Anda on July 27-28, 2017.
The Mid-year assessment program includes the performance measurement of the first semester of 2017, regular performance feedback of each individual employee, employee recognition for their contribution to SP’s targets, documentation of each employee’s progress, and goal setting for second semester of 2017 based on the lessons learned from the first semester.
After the mid-year assessment, City DILG Officer Mardonio Roxas opened the team building activities with an informative discussion on Conflict Management. The group also took the opportunity to air out their individual concerns which they deem necessary to help improve the productivity in the work area and expressed their creativity through team building activities. The scenic view of the East Coast White Sand Resort provided a great venue to helped the employees take a break from their work mind-set and focused on rebuilding their team, motivate the staff and employees and encourage them to do better to contribute to the common goals of the Sangguniang Panlungsod.
