To cap off the successful supervised field work of Local Government Operations Officers Alfa Marie I. De Los Reyes, Abel John B. Peguit and Randel Cedie J. Samonte in the DILG-City of Tagbilaran, the Tagbilaran City Council passed a resolution commending and congratulating them for their outstanding performance and their invaluable support in strengthening environmental governance and sustaining the progressive direction of the City of Tagbilaran.
LGOO De Los Reyes, Peguit and Samonte conducted a data-driven analysis on the environmental status of the city which heightened the city government’s awareness on the pressing issues and challenges on environmental management and enabled the identification of policy options to further strengthen, enhance and sustain the city’s progressive direction and embarked upon various projects and programs which were implemented in coordination with the policies, programs, projects, and activities of the Department of Interior and Local Government.
Under the supervision of CLGOO Juliet C. Olalo, LGOO De Los Reyes, Peguit and Samonte have also effectively guided the Sangguniang Panlungsod as the latter joined the Local Legislative Award 2023. Through their support, the SP gained recognition and achieved the Provincial Local Legislative Award 2023 and secured one of the top 3 spots in the Regional Local Legislative Award 2023
