To further strengthen the shared common goals and objectives towards achieving a globally competitive Philippine creative industries, the City Government of Tagbilaran will enter into a Memorandum of Agreement with the Department of Trade and Industry -Region 7 for the implementation of the Creative Tourism Enterprise Development Project. This project aims to develop and implement a capacity building program to equip local creatives with the necessary skills and knowledge to enhance their creative talents, thereby elevating their contributions to the Creative Tourism Industry in Bohol, to improve the technical musical skills of local talents that will lead to better live performances, recordings, and overall musical output, and to provide opportunities for more dynamic collaborative projects with other creative talents and create a “Creative Performance or Show” as part of the tourism circuit in Bohol.
The 15th Sangguniang Panlungsod approved Resolution No. 24-73 which authorized the Honorable Mayor Jane Yap for and in behalf of the City Government of Tagbilaran to enter into a MOA with the DTI-Region 7. Resolution No. 24-73 is sponsored by Hon. Nicanor S. Besas.
