During their regular session on March 27, 2025, the 15th Sangguniang Panlungsod approved Resolution No. 25-135 which commended and congratulated the Tagbilaran City Police Station, under the leadership of PLTCOL John Kareen O. Escober, for swiftly solving the multiple incidents of vehicle break-ins (Basag Kotse) on March 25, 2025 that had left residents shaken.
The prompt response and investigative efforts of the Tagbilaran City Police Station not only restored a sense of security in the City of Tagbilaran but also reaffirmed the commitment of the police to ensuring public safety. City Councilor Eliezer L. Borja, Chairperson of the Committee on Peace, Public Order and Safety took the initiative of crafting of the resolution commending the City’s Police Force and noted that the swift action of our police officers not only ensured justice for the victims but also reassured our community that safety remains a top priority.
In a climate where morale can easily be challenged, the quick action of the police force, along with the supportive acknowledgment from public officials, serves as a reminder of the positive impact that diligent law enforcement can have on community safety and cohesion.
