City Councilor Malvin Misael “Atoy” C. Torralba, a staunch environmentalist sponsored a resolution authorizing the City Mayor Jane Yap to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement with the Bohol Chronicle Radio Corporation and any other entity, agency and institution that would like to partner with the City Government for the Implementation of Project 6300, A Tree Growing Program to Create a Greener Tagbilaran City.

Project 6300 is a Tree Growing Program that seeks to plant trees in strategic public spaces to create a greener Tagbilaran City in fulfillment of the City’s vision to become a highly urbanized, resilient and livable city by 2030.

The city encourages multiple sectors to partner with “Project 6300” in order to leverage knowledge, expertise, reach, and resources, benefiting from their combined and varied strengths in working towards the shared goal of becoming a green city.
