The Fifteenth Sangguniang Panlungsod approved Proposed Resolution No. 101-24, Commending and Congratulating Boholano Boxer Virgel “Valiente” Vitor for Winning the World Boxing Organization (WBO) Oriental Super Featherweight Title. John Virgel Cornel Vitor, also known as Virgel “Valiente” Vitor, a native of Tagbilaran City, Bohol, exhibited a thrilling seventh-round knockout victory against Korean Tae Sun Kim in the main event of “Kumong Bol-Anon XIV” last March 8, 2024, at the Saulog Gymnasium in Tagbilaran City, Bohol. The body commended his impressive performance and spirit of unrelenting competitiveness and lauded his exceptional accomplishments and invaluable contributions to sport by bringing pride and honor to the city. The 15th SP formally presented the Resolution during the Regular Session held today at the SP Sandugo Session Hall. Valiente Vitor was accompanied by his parents and coaches, Edsel Bullas, Romnic Hoybia and Jeremias Juit.
