Members of the 15th Sangguniang Panlungsod of Tagbilaran, led by City Vice Mayor Adam Relson L. Jala, honored the legacy and contribution of the late Honorable Vice Governor Dionisio Victor A. Balite to Tagbilaran City and the Province of Bohol through Resolution No. 24-187, Series of 2024.
A beloved figure in both politics and community, Vice Governor Victor Balite served as Board Member of the Third District for two consecutive terms, from 2016-2022 and Vice Governor of the Province of Bohol beginning 2022. He was serving as Acting Governor of the province since May until his untimely demise. His tenure as public official was marked by commitment to public service, integrity, unwavering dedication to nation-building, and deep passion for improving the lives of his constituents.
His legacy will stand as testament to his brand of public service and serve to inspire those who strive for the best in personal and community life.
Vice Governor Balite’s wife, Mrs. Rucela V. Balite, children, and father, former Vice Governor Atty. Dionisio D. Balite, accepted the Resolution as the members of the august body expressed their profound sympathy and sincerest condolences to the bereaved family.
