LAVADIA APPOINTED AS LOCAL DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT OFFICERThe Fourteenth Sangguniang Panlungsod, led by Hon. Vice Mayor Jose Antonio S. Veloso, concurred with the appointment of Mr. Gerard M. Lavadia as the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer, and head of the Office of the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management, City of Tagbilaran, effective January 27, 2021.Mr. Lavadia possesses all the necessary qualifications and experience relevant to disaster risk reduction and management, as required by the position under City Ordinance C-306, Series of 2020. He has undergone several trainings in management and supervision concerning disaster risk reduction and management issues way beyond what is required for the position.Mr. Lavadia is also a Career Service Professional, and was even awarded the CSC PAG-ASA Award in 2020, for excelling in the field of disaster risk reduction and management and his exemplary performance in government service.The Resolution is sponsored by Hon.
