The Fourteenth Sangguniang Panlungsod, led by Hon. Vice Mayor Jose Antonio S. Veloso, passed an Ordinance allocating a budget of over Five million pesos for the renovation of the Tagbilaran City Central Public Market. Currently, the condition of the said market has been deteriorating brought about by natural wear-and-tear. Its dilapidated roofing structure has caused considerable risks and hazards to occupants and market-goers. The flooding in most parts of the market every time there is rain has resulted in considerable loss in the sales and earnings of the stall occupants, as well as gross inconvenience to the public in general.The Resolution is sponsored by Hon. Jose Timoteo S. Butalid, Chairman of the Committee on Appropriations and Accounts.
