The City Council recognizes the important role of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in local governance and acknowledged that they have long been one of the government’s efficient and active partners in enabling services in the local communities.
To further promote the active and participatory engagement of CSOs, the 15th Sangguniang Panlungsod led by Vice Mayor Atty. Adam Relson L. Jala and the Committee on External Affairs, Special Affairs and Public Information Chairperson Hon. Jonas R. Cacho, awarded the Certificates of Accreditation to 122 CSOs and Certificates of Recognition to 33 CSOs at the City Hall Atrium on September 2, 2022 (Friday)
The program was actively supported by City Mayor Jane Yap who was represented by City Administrator Cathelyn O. Torremocha, USAID-CHANGE City Coordinator Dr. Linda G. Paredes, CSO Desk Officer Alvin Luis O. Acuzar and Tagbilaran City People’s Council President Marietta S. Gasatan.
