In support of the City’s efforts to streamline and computerize government processes such as the computation of salaries and preparation of payrolls, the Fourteenth Sangguniang Panlungsod, led by City Vice Mayor Jose Antonio S. Veloso, approved a resolution authorizing the City Mayor John Geesenell L. Yapp II to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement with ECPAC System Corporation. The ECPAC, which is a developer of a computer-based application software package, is offering an ECPAC-Payroll System which can be utilized by the City Human Resource Management Office in automating its human resources record keeping and payroll disbursements to streamline the city government’s work processes.
The resolution which is authored and sponsored by Committee on Information and Communications Technology Chairperson Hon. Nerio D. Zamora II, will help the city in coming to an agreement with ECPAC for the utilization of the software in order to support the implementation of the Payroll Computerized System of the City
