The 15th SP approves CDRRMC Resolution No. 09, Series of 2022, approving the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan of Tagbilaran City for Calendar Years 2023-2025. In their 3-year plan, the CDRRMO proposes a project establishing a desalination plant in the city. The said plant will be used to convert seawater to freshwater. Thus, ensuring sufficient freshwater supply in the city, especially at times of calamities or crises.
Furthermore, through Proposed Ordinance No. 28-22, the August body intends to require all gasoline stations, water refilling stations, and other essential business establishments in the city to have operational generator sets to be used as supplementary or alternative power source.
